Raila Odinga and William Ruto allegedly begged George Wajackoyah to join their teams.

George Wajackoya, a candidate for president, revealed that the top competitors have been wooing him into their different camps. He claimed that Kenya Kwanza’s Azimio La Umoja and ODM leader Raila Odinga had dispatched messengers to him to woo him into their respective parties. Despite the advances made to him, the presidential candidate declared that he would be on the ballot for president on August 9. George Wajackoya, a presidential candidate for the Roots Party, has disclosed that he has been receiving overtures from the nation’s top political parties.

In an interview with Spice FM on Tuesday, Wajackoya claimed that both Raila Odinga of the ODM and Deputy President William Ruto had been sending emissaries to woo him into their respective political parties. While Raila is the leader of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party, which is running for president for a record fifth time, Ruto is in charge of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance. The head of the Roots Party, however, claimed that he has been rebuffing their advances and insisting that he will be on the ballot for president on August 9.
