Nyamira Country Referral Hospital Denies Selling Water to Patients.

Nyamira County Referral Hospital refutes claims that patients are paying for water. 
Dr. Mokua Ombati clarified that the hospital has enough water for its patients. He added  that any extra water is distributed to the general public at the front entrance. The medical director pleaded with the public to refrain from spreading misleading information in order to protect the reputation of the medical facility.

Following social media posts from out patients from the hospital accusing the hospital of asking patients to buy water, the hospital supretendant Dr. Ombati has refuted the claims saying that the hospital has enough supply of water. Dr. Ombati says this is a plot to tannish the good reputation of the hospital.

A woman who was brought to the hospital in April, however, said that there was no water inside the building and that she was compelled to purchase gloves and an urine bag outside the building. ” I was taken to theatre on 4th April at around 2pm. We were sent a urine bag and surgical gloves outside the hospital They don’t force you but the situation forces you to get yourself water for bathing and drinking,” said a former patient who sought anonymity.
