Kisii High School has welcomed a new student who was unsure about enrolling since he couldn’t pay school fees just a few days ago. The school fees payment was made possible by Fred Mogaka, the Principal, and Henry Mosioma, his deputy, who went after him and promised him a Form One spot without charge. The youngster had skipped school since his father had died and his mother was ill, leaving him unable to pay for his education.
Wanja Mwaura, a philanthropist, has been among those praising Kisii High School head Fred Mogaka and his deputy Henry Mosioma on social media.

The Principal and deputy travelled to the village to pick up the youngster and transport him to school. Wanja Mwaura’s photos. Since the young man has a sick mother and no father to pay his school tuition, the student from Oganda Primary School was picked to attend Kisii School but unfortunately failed to report. Mogaka and Mosioma tracked him down and accepted him into their Form One program. This is the epitome of determination and kindness. The world surely needs more educators like Mogaka and Mosioma.
The public has also expressed gratitude and commended the two educators through social media platforms.
Public acclaimed Wanja, a Kisii High School teacher, voiced her respect for the educator, saying she has dealt with him on multiple occasions and can speak to his enthusiasm for his work. “His love for his students is contagious. Kenya requires such committed leaders. I praise God for this wonderful man “she replied.
